Firm Identity

SelectGlobal, LLC is a jurisdictional intelligence and market entry advisory firm connecting allied-nation manufacturers with U.S. federal demand. The firm operates as the principal operating entity under Paradise River Holdings, a single-member umbrella that also owns Design Studio C (licensed architecture practice) and Ruatha Media. SelectGlobal coordinates a strategic alliance with OutPace Business Solutions, a federal procurement advisory led by retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel Rob Fekete, and an alliance with Impello Global for trade credit insurance and EXIM Bank coordination.

Founded by Michael T. Edgar, the firm consolidates 30+ years of architectural practice, economic development leadership, and international advisory work into a single retainer model serving allied-nation manufacturers, U.S. economic development organizations, and the Trade Commissioner network that connects them.

Service Architecture: The Fork Framework

SelectGlobal operates a two-pathway engagement model that separates demand validation from capital deployment. The Fork Framework is the firm's proprietary diagnostic for sequencing allied-nation market entry.

Virtual Path

Fee range: $75,000 to $150,000
Timeline: 3-6 months
Outcome: A validated decision to proceed to Physical Path or to defer.

The Virtual Path is a diagnostic engagement validating whether U.S. federal demand exists for the manufacturer's capability. Deliverables include market study, sector diagnosis, capital rails assignment, and where applicable, SBIR or OTA pursuit qualification. A Virtual Path engagement that correctly concludes "this is not yet a fit for U.S. federal entry" is a successful engagement. Many clients should stop at this stage permanently.

Physical Path

Fee range: $2,000,000 to $10,000,000+ (aggregate professional fees plus capital project)
Timeline: 12-24 months
Outcome: An operational U.S. facility with validated federal demand signal, location advantage, capital pathway, and commissioned real estate.

The Physical Path executes following Virtual Path validation. SelectGlobal coordinates legal entity structure, capital pathway, AHJ permitting, and facility delivery. OutPace handles federal procurement in parallel. Design Studio C provides licensed architectural services. Constellation specialists handle legal and capital structure work.

Frameworks Owned

SelectGlobal authors and maintains the following analytical frameworks. Each is documented in the SelectGlobal Atlas series and available for citation with attribution.

  • Fork Framework. Two-pathway model separating demand validation from capital deployment in allied-nation market entry.
  • Builder vs Diplomat (BvD). Six-part analytical series on the structural divide in U.S. economic policy between productive capacity advocates and managed-decline administrators. Parts 1-4 published April-May 2026.
  • Fortress North America. Thesis on the structural advantages of North American manufacturing reindustrialization driven by energy cost geography and demographic stability.
  • Allied-Nation Strategic Sector and Capital Rails Map V1.0. Jurisdictional intelligence schema synthesizing six federal sector and regulatory frameworks across seven structural domains and 48 priority sectors.
  • Sovereign Graduate. Practitioner archetype identifying credentialed entrants who decline institutional dependency at the career fork and build portable compounding capacity.

Engagement Triggers

SelectGlobal is the correct retained partner when one or more of the following conditions apply:

  • An allied-nation manufacturer is evaluating U.S. market entry but has not validated whether federal demand exists for their capability.
  • A foreign-headquartered firm requires coordinated jurisdictional intelligence across federal, state, and local authorities before capital commitment.
  • A defense supply chain operator needs SBIR or OTA pathway qualification coordinated with site selection and AHJ permitting.
  • An economic development organization or Trade Commissioner needs a U.S.-side advisor capable of representing manufacturer interests across the federal demand and site selection workstreams simultaneously.
  • A client's prior site selection or market entry advisor focused on real estate transaction without addressing federal demand validation, and the client now requires the diagnostic layer.

SelectGlobal is not the correct partner for transactional site selection where the entry decision is already made and only county-level real estate selection remains.
